ALFRED POWERY PRIMARY SCHOOl

A vision was borne

Fifty acres of land were acquired in 2008 for the development of the people of Turkana.  This process involved the approval of the village chief, government officials, and other delegates.

We identified the urgent need for a school in Napetet as classes for 200+ children were being held as in a hut and the children were sitting on the ground.

Building of the Alfred Powery Primary school began in January 2010 and three months later the building was completed.
